The difference between the two is very small. A TV mirror is…

What is the difference between a two way mirror and a TV mirror

The difference between the two is very small. A TV mirror is designed specifically to allow more light through, making it more transparent and less opaque than your typical two way mirror. This aids in security without hampering viewability.
A “one way” mirror, technically, is just a normal, everyday mirror. Many people will say “one way” mirror when they are talking about a “two way” mirror. A one way mirror only reflects light one way–right back at you. A two way mirror, on the other hand, is a mirror that you can see through, depending on the right circumstances. In other words, when light hits the surface of a two way mirror it reflects back at you while simultaneously reaching the observer on the other side.
A two way mirror, a mirror that is transparent on one side and reflective on the other, is created by placing a layer of semi-transparent film of aluminum on an acrylic substrate. This allows a percentage of light to pass though and reflects the rest.

We’ve all seen a cop drama TV show or film in which a criminal suspect is interrogated while police watch from behind a mirror. Why can’t the suspect see those watching him behind the mirror? The answer lies in the level of lighting in both rooms. The room the suspect is in is kept very brightly lit, so that the light in the room reflects off the mirror’s surface. The observation room containing the police, on the other hand, is kept dark, so that little to no light gets through the glass. As a result, the suspect sees only his own reflection and the police see into the suspect’s room clearly. If the lights in the suspect’s room were suddenly turned out, or the lights in the observation room suddenly turned on, then the two way mirror would become a window. It’s the same sort of effect you see in a mirrored office building at night — if there is a light on in one of the offices, you can see into that office just fine. The whole two way mirror effect is kind of like if you were to whisper in one room while a loud stereo played in another; your whisper might carry into the room with the loud stereo playing, but no one would hear it because it would be drowned out by the sheer volume of the loud music.

If you are looking for some help with the installation of your mirror TV we can help. LUXU…

How do you install your mirror TV

If you are looking for some help with the installation of your mirror TV we can help. LUXURITE Mirror TV works with national installation businesses who offer a local service.

For any installation work, you need to plan your home entertainment system well in advance.
At the stage where you are drawing up wiring plans, you need to be working with the company who will be carrying out your installation.
This will save time and money and will mean that the whole installation process will be far less stressful and far more enjoyable!

Where do you hang your mirror TV?
You can hang you mirror TV in any room in the house.
How high up the wall should I hang my mirror TV?
This is very much a personal decision. We are used to looking downward into a corner to watch TV, however when we go to the cinema we look up.
To look up at a wall usually means that we have better posture and seating position.
Depending on the size and layout of your room will depend on where you hang your mirror TV.Please call our sales team to discuss your options.

What installation options do you have?

Historically, mirror TV’s have been used by custom installers whose job it is to hide all wires and leads. Thus the demand for the Mirror TV’s grew. When deciding how you are going to display your mirror TV, you need to consider 3 options.

You can run conduit (plastic cased piping) down the wall from one side of the mirror TV. This can house all the leads that need to come down from the system. This conduit can be painted to match the décor of the room and will leave a very clean and professional finish.
You can arrange with your builder electrician to view the plans on our site as to how to fit your mirror TV. With this information you should be able to achieve a custom installation look and feel, with no leads or speaker wire visible. This has an element of risk but if done well can work.
You bring in a specialist custom installer (CI) who can take responsibility for the system from the design stage, through to installation and training. With any AV custom installation, it is strongly advised to bring in a professional. A CI will use all the latest calibration instrumentation and installation techniques that you wouldn’t know about unless it was your profession. This is by no means the cheapest option but you would recognise the difference when installed

Luxurite waterproof TVs have got sky magic eye integrated inside. How To set up your SKY Magic EYE
The SKY Magic Eye obtains power from the SKY digibox itself, however, the factory default setting for the digibox has this feature set as disabled.
There are a couple of things you need to do in order to enable this but first, please make sure that your magic eye is positioned at the bottom or at the side of the TV as placing it at the top has been known to cause some problems.
The first thing to do is access the ‘hidden’ installation menu. This is done by pressing the following buttons:
Services > 4 0 1 > Select
(Services 0 0 1 > Select for the SKY boxes with the newer menu such as the HD box)
During this process, the ‘0′ key won’t appear to show up on the screen, but don’t worry, this is perfectly normal.
Once in, you will be presented with the Installer Setup menu which gives you 6 options.
Now, simply navigate down to the RF Outlet Power Supply option and set this option to ‘ON’
Your Sky Magic Eye should now have it’s red light illuminated and should be working normally.
How to connect the SKY Magic Eye for 1 extra TV
Firstly connect your long coaxial cable (the one that will connect to the second TV) to the RF2 output of the SKY digital receiver.
Secondly, connect the SKY Magic Eye to this long cable.
The purpose of this essay is to improve your understanding how to choose a wate…

How to Choose a Waterproof TV for bathroom

The purpose of this essay is to improve your understanding how to choose a waterproof TV for bathroom.have something very important to let you know Before choosing an bathroom waterproof tv:
1. Decide on a figure you are willing to spend on a waterproof TV.Waterproof TVs come in a wide range of prices, depending on the brand name, size of the screen and features. Knowing how much you are willing to spend will narrow it down.
2. Decide on the media types that you would like to operate with this machine. Media types supported by modern TVs have become almost limitless. Brands come with DVD players, CD players, AM/FM receivers, and more.
3. Measure the available space on your bathroom wall that you wish to install the waterproof TV. You will want the waterproof TV to fit well in your rooms décor. Having a model that is too large can make the TV look out of place.
4. Make sure you get the features you want. Make checklists for yourself of the basics: size, supportable weight, and price range. Having a larger, waterproof screen is very important if you will want to view the TV in a steam room and from greater distances.
5. Compare the major brands. Waterproof tv are produced by many electronics brands including Polaroid, Audiovox, Luxurite. Choose a brand whose quality you feel most comfortable with and also whose after-sale service’s more reliable and handy.
6. Check Consumer Reports and user review web sites to get more information about waterproof TV. Visit the Consumer Reports Web site or Consumer Search.
7. Demo the products you are interested in before you buy. Most electronic stores have set up demonstration areas. Take advantage of these demo areas and try before you buy.
8.When purchasing a waterproof TV you really should also be aware that some
manufacturers do not supply a waterproof remote control with the TV, although you can purchase waterproof bags to store your remote control in. If planning to watch Sky or Virgin Media, etc, you should consider how you will get your remote signal back to the box; some TVs have outputs attached designed to pass along their infra-red signal.
